All participants are responsible for providing their own kayak for the race.  If you do not own one, you may rent one from Motor City Paddle Club.

Motor City Paddle Club will bring your kayak to the park the morning of the race, along with a paddle and pfd. 

 

Kayaks are $20

 

On the morning of the race, we suggest you meet up with your contact person at the rental company. Motor City Paddle Club will be stationed near the launch area and will help you determine which kayak you will be using for the race.

 

There is a limited number of rentals, so be sure to reserve early to guarantee your spot!

Please note: you are responsible for providing your own kayak, there will be no refunds if these organizations sell out and you have already registered.
